Noatmeals.com, a California-based company specialising in delivering clean and grain-free oatmeals made from superfood ingredients, has successfully established itself as a prominent player in the breakfast foods market. However, to secure sustained growth and tap into new market segments, the company recognizes the necessity for a comprehensive global marketing strategy. The current challenge lies in expanding its reach beyond California, increasing overall sales, and growing its subscriber base.

Objective

The primary objective is to propel Noatmeals into a leading position in the global market for clean and nutritious breakfast options.

Strategy

To help a clean food brand like Noatmeals.com grow in the market, a comprehensive marketing strategy can be devised. The strategy should focus on increasing brand awareness, expanding the customer base, and driving sales.

Beginning with a comprehensive Customer Relationship Optimization (CRO) audit, we aim to elevate the entire brand experience by aligning it with the envisioned identity. After conducting a CRO audit, we apply the branding our partner envisioned and restructure the homepage and product page to highlight the benefits of Noatmeals and educate visitors on why Noatmeals is a great oatmeal substitute for those looking to follow a low-carb diet or a healthier lifestyle. We review all the messaging of Facebook ads, apply the rebranding, and test multiple formats, mainly image and carousel ads, to determine the most effective format. At the same time, we ensure that search covers the brand name and brand terms inventions such as "noats" and products are covered on Google Search (text ads and product ads).

We launched this new strategy on December 16th, 2020, intending to increase traffic, brand awareness, and sales through top-of-the-funnel campaigns on Facebook targeting mainly interests related to wellness, superfood, and low-carb diets. We then broaden our audience starting from February 2021. Our second goal is to push subscriptions and increase effectiveness by reducing CPA to $30. After testing different landing pages and sending the right audiences to our e-commerce, we feed Facebook Ads' algorithm with enough and good data for it to perform when broadening our audience.

The website's conversion rate increased by 73%, reaching 2.92%, and paid media results saw a surge with a 108% increase in sessions and a 182% rise in revenue. Facebook Ads played a crucial role, scaling spend efficiently by 131%, leading to $81K in revenue and a 40% boost in ROAS. Subscriber growth soared by 250%, adding 700 active subscribers. Google Ads performance was positively influenced, with a 94% increase in brand searches and notable improvements in CPA and conversion rate. The success underscores the importance of strong products, clear messaging, and strategic diversification across platforms, highlighting the synergy between Facebook and Google Ads in achieving marketing goals.
